    Post's featued image.
    This is a sponsored post.

It’s the time of the year again, the Kaamatan and Gawai Dayak Festivals! This marks my 3rd year celebrating it outside of Sabah Sarawak. I am going to miss I miss Tapai/Lihing/Tuak (Rice wine) again!

The Kaamatan Festival and the Gawai Dayak Festival is held every 30th and 31st of May and June 1st and 2ndrespectively. We refer to these festivals as Harvest Festival. Some of you may ask, how much this festival means to me?

Do you know that there is a  special webfilm which is produced by PETRONASthat brings to life the rich culture and rituals of Pesta Kaamatan and Gawai Dayak that is aired from 26th May on television and PETRONAS’ official YouTube channel? If you haven’t here’s a link below:

I am really touched of the videos and it truly shows what my culture is. For those who would love to experience Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage and ancient traditions from East Malaysia, do come and celebrate with us at Sabah and Sarawak and experience the 2 most important festivals!
In summary, I am proud to be part of this culture, tradition and arts. And I will continue to pass it on to my future generations!
Wishing all Sabahan and Sawakians, and most importantly, to all my readers
    KOTOBIAN TADAU TAGAZO DO KAAMATAN
    and
    GAYU GURU GERAI NYAMAI

Special thanks to Petronas and Have a great weekend everyone!

Hello and Happy Kaamatan! Today I am going to introduce my awesome friend here, Chloe Tiffany Lee! Such a long name aite? Well you will know soon once you scroll down! She’s a very active and fun loving person (Even I haven’t met her in real life but it’s fun chatting with her through whatsapp, FB and email). so Basically she loves to travel! And here’s a pic taken by her about food….yes…I mean FOOD!

Anyways, without further delay, let’s introduce her!

    What’s your name?
My name is Mei Tchuin Lee but everyone address me by Chloe. Chloe is not my real name actually. It’s a name given by someone special to me and my middle name ‘Tiffany’ is given by my friend. So in short, there will be my family, friends, and special someone. 😉
What’s the reason that I have two names? Well, it’s not that I don’t like my real name but to ease everyone’s pain to pronounce my ‘Tchuin’, it’s easier to just say, “Hi Chloe”. Somehow, everybody seems to know Chloe Tiffany Lee more than Lee Mei Tchuin! 😛
Which part of Sabah you are from?
I’m from Kota Kinabalu! Orang KK bah!
What’s your fav food at Sabah?
Well, this can be a tough question because we have everything here in Sabah. I like our exotic food – Hinava, Tuhau, and Sayur gila-gila (they say). As I am also writing food reviews for most of the restaurant here in Sabah, you might need to ask me for a list! Ps, I’m a meat person but I’m trying my best to eat more vegetables. I promise. AND, important – Salmon.
What’s your fav place to visit at Sabah?
I would say, perhaps Kundasang and the jungle. I don’t know why but there’s like a relationship between me and our majestic Mount Kinabalu. Sometimes, I would bring along flowers with me and I would throw the petals one by one out from the window (sshhh.. keep it with you since you have read this. I don’t wanna get caught!). Yes, jungle. I love adventure and nature, and I fancy Bornean Pygmy Elephant! Bring it on!
    What is your work/profession?
I’m the Publicity and Publication Executive in Sri Pelancongan Sabah Sdn. Bhd. (Wholly owned subsidiary of Sabah Tourism Board). I’m also writing for Sabah Malaysian Borneo magazine so I get to travel and eat. A lot!

What is your name of your blog?
There is some tricky part of my blog. Previously, the name of my blog is “Faith. Hope. Love. Care. [Chloe] with the blog link – www.angelsbewithyou.blogspot.com. People often get the wrong idea for what kind of blog I have and what do I blog about last time. Which is why, I have changed my blog name to A Sabahan Blogger by Chloe Tiffany Lee (http://chloetiffanylee.blogspot.com/).
    What do you blog about?
I blog about my travel experiences locally and internationally. I do blog about the food and drinks that I have tried, events that I am invited too, and focussing on Sabah culture most of the time. Sometimes I do blog about property and homes as I have studied Quantity Surveying before. So, it’s a mix of everything, but focusing of promoting the best of Sabah, and my daily experiences. Everything lah! haha

Here’s the awesome part, i you wanna date her , follow her by the links below because she has lots!

Hello everyone! We have reached the mid of this week! XD
Anyways, I had been busy with my work lately so you may notice a decline of my postings but when everything is alright I will back to post as usual! 😛
Alright! Today I am going to share an interesting meet and share event organized by Nuffnang! I was being invited to their new version of hangout call Nuffnang Lovin’. Their first session is held at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral!

Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral – the world’s largest Aloft Hotel, located in the new business hub in Kuala Lumpur, is a home to 482 rooms and suites. Aloft Hotel is designed with the digital generation in mind, equipped with wireless internet connection throughout the whole hotel. With its floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors, it showcases its re:mix lounge at the lobby, making every entry exciting.

Before I enter, here’s the awesomeness of the entrance!
Went into the hotel and registered with Nuffnang, and the real fun begins!! (Alert, awesome photos below! do spot me in it)

Here’s some selfie moments with Christy and Neo!

I love the ambiance and the atmosphere!

    Interesting drinks provided by Aloft!
I settled down and started to blend myself into the atmosphere
and yes, this bar serve awesome drinks from the W XYZ bar! Aloft’s Signature bar!
since I love arts as well, here’s some creative art painted frames! Notice Elvis Presley?  :3
and here’s me holding the hashtag of #NuffnangLovin !!
So the event started with the nuffies introducing themselves
NEXT, we had ice breaking session (Was too busy remembering the names of the bloggers and nuffies so didn’t manage to take photos)… 😛
and after the ice breaking event , here comes the awesome musical band
All of us are having an awesome time!
after the music session, it’s time for a tour around the Hotel!!
The awesome pantry. I super like the concept!
The multimedia section ,where u can rent the MAC and surf! So high tech!
and we went up…to the rooftop bar! Weee!
     first thing first…
     The super nice pool!!!
So after the hotel tour~ it’s time for a short sharing session from the nuffies 🙂
    It is really insightful!
Next on, is a small game session! We were formed into 3 groups and guess what , we got the last place 🙁 But in that short time, I met many bloggers!
Here’s a group photo of our team 3!
and before the event ends, here’s a pic of me with the nuffies!
Overall, I really had a great time with the nuffies and meeting new bloggers! It was one great experience indeed! Hope to attend this kind of meet and share event in the future! Once again, thank you Nuffnang and Aloft KL Sentral for the wonderful night!
