Continued…The randomness of going to the city idea comes from Cynthia first, then all of us agreed LOLs

We went to Federation Square, and I plan to bring them going into the building, but too bad it was closed, so we walked along the Yarra river. The night was beautiful, especially when lights reflects the river like colorful purplish reflections. So here was the photos! ^^

It’s fun but tiring day haha ^^

Post's featued image.

As usual, I continued my hobby of  cooking for my friends to Australia…..so my house is smaller and eating in groups is only possible in my bedroom but that doesn’t stop me from cooking!

So 6 lovely guests visited my house…. Howard, Cynthia, Christine, Shaun, Edmund, and  Fion…plus me….7 people! So how to fit the people in such a small house? Well…dun care~ lolx

Anyway, the dishes I cook has no salt in it! LOLs, so we joke around and play around, Howard came to help too and prepare 2 dishes to add into the lunch course.

I am, in fact very happy that I be able to cook for my friends and it bring back “family, home and reunion”feeling to me once again….come to think of it…It’s already 10 years since I left house and to be independent (So-called) =P

Girl approached me…
Girl: Hello, are you Kendrick?
Me: ….ya….ya..I am Kendrick….
Girl: My friend told me about you, I am Christine, you can call me Tin Tin!
Me: Hi, A pleasure to meet you
Then a 10 second gap of “…………………………………”
Girl: So you are from Malaysia?
Me: Yes…I am from Malaysia..
Girl: Which part of Malaysia?
Me:….Sipitang, Sabah, the 2nd last town before entering Sarawak…..(Face getting red)
Girl: Hmm….I taught you were funny
Me… hehehehe, no la… hehe…by the way, do you mind sharing contacts? (Getting brave….as if…)
Girl: Off course, ur funny and cute..!
Me: …hehe…

When girls approached me….. don’t know why….my heart pounds so fast, I became so shy…speechless and don’t know how to talk…I think thats a common reaction to a guy…and one of them is me lolx!!

People often say, hey, what’s with you? I taught you were the jolly, happy, active, friendly Kendrick? Well, I am not good in approaching girls…(I think), but if they came and ask me or start a conversation, I will try to tune my own antenna to join your channel, until the girls felt comfortable with me, then I can consider them as friends…but mostly I will be soooo quiet until even people won’t noticed that I am actually there haha!

The most beautiful heart

Post's featued image.

Hope you like it! hehe…I promised to make it as short as possible >.<

Here it goes….
One day a young man was standing in the middle of the town proclaiming that he had the most beautiful heart in the whole valley.

A large crowd gathered and they all admired his heart for it was perfect. There was not a mark or a flaw in it. Yes, they all agreed it truly was the most beautiful heart they had ever seen. The young man was very proud and boasted more loudly about his beautiful heart.

Suddenly, an old man appeared at the front of the crowd and said, “Why your heart is not nearly as beautiful as mine.” The crowd and the young man looked at the old man’s heart. It was beating strongly, but full of scars, it had places where pieces had been removed and other pieces put in, but they didn’t fit quite right and there were several jagged edges. In fact, in some places there were deep gouges where whole pieces were missing.

The people stared ? “How can he say his heart is more beautiful?” they thought.

The young man looked at the old man’s heart and saw its state and laughed. “You must be joking,” he said. “Compare your heart with mine, mine is perfect and yours is a mess of scars and tears.”

“Yes,” said the old man, “Yours is perfect looking but I would never trade with you. You see, every scar represents a person to whom have given my love – I tear out a piece of my heart and give it to them, and often they give me a piece of their heart which fits into the empty place in my heart, but because the pieces aren’t exact, I have some rough edges, which I cherish, because they remind me of the love we shared.”

“Sometimes I have given pieces of my heart away, and the other person hasn’t returned a piece of his heart to me. These are the empty gouges – giving love is taking a chance. Although these gouges are painful, they stay open, reminding me of the love I have for these people too, and I hope someday they may return and fill the space I have waiting. So now do you see what true beauty is?”

The young man stood silently with tears running down his cheeks.

He walked up to the old man, reached into his perfect young and beautiful heart, and ripped a piece out. He offered it to the old man with trembling hands. The old man took his offering, placed it in his heart and then took a piece from his old scarred heart and placed it in the wound in the young man’s heart. It fit, but not perfectly, as there were some jagged edges.

The young man looked at his heart, not perfect anymore but more beautiful than ever, since love from the old man’s heart flowed into his.

They embraced and walked away side by side.

So after you read this story, what do you think about it? I hope you could reply in the comments below =)

Before I end this post, let me tell everyone that…
“The best and the most beautiful things in the world is cannot be seen or touched. These things can be only felt with the heart”
“Your heart does not choose your relationship, but you do”
“Your heart is not for display, so share it before it runs out”

You have been given 365 days, why do I have to complain?

Post's featued image.

365 days, I think you may say it was a lot of time, but we often complain that there is not enough time, not enough days….but I wanted to share my experience on an incident which I experienced yesterday:

Yesterday while I was at the project hub rushing my assignments, suddenly my phone rang….I picked up the phone call without looking on who was calling and to my astonishment, the person who called was my dad. He asked why I didn’t reply his sms, I was a little frustrated and  shocked because I didn’t received anything from him and he told me that the sms was 4 days ago and he waited for my reply for days, a little misunderstanding occurred, and we had a small figh….. I ended the call saying that I am busy rushing my assignments and I couldn’t Skype tonight. *Beep*….I don’t know why I did that, but I quickly realized that It was my mistake and then I stop all my assignments for a while and tried to contact my family back. I apologized to my family and I admit it was my mistake. So who to blame? The telephone service?or myself?or just the time?

I asked myself, if you were a parent, what you will do? Definitely you will be worried about your children even after a few days haven’t heard any news from them. Sometimes it’s obvious when your parents called at the wrong timing. But you have to ask yourself, how on earth they will know you are busy if you did not notice them?

In life, it’s unpredictable and it may sound out of control….. but remember this, it is not beyond your control. So I want you to ask yourself…

A year has 365.242199 days, therefore you have 525 948.766 minutes or 31 556 926 seconds…

IF YOU WERE GIVEN 365 DAYS,
Would you spend at least 60 seconds (1 minutes) per day and pray to God?
Would you spend 30 minutes per week to call your family?
Would you spend at least 1 minute to wish your family and your loved ones on special occasions?
Would you spend at least 5 minutes reading this blog?
Would you spend at least 20 minutes to look the photos of your past?

Sometimes, we often took Time for granted and we often forgotten what is the most important to us in our lives.I am grateful that God, my parents, my family, and my friends still care and worried about me….once they were gone, that is not the time for you to regret…and it’s too late to say sorry….

Remember, you cannot walk backwards…time is linear, so appreciate what you have now before it’s too late.

Understanding The Art of Listening

Post's featued image.

Ever heard of promoters before? Their promote something to the public I relate this to the types of friends that loved to talked much…haha, to all promoters, have you ever try of being a observer or a listener? It may sounds as hard as you think, but sometimes when you listen, you know yourself and understands others more! This is my opinions towards the art of listening…

1. The Art of listening(Hehehe…for me its an ART)
When someones really listens to you, bridges are built, and chasms are crossed. Listening really is a great and wonderful thing. Unfortunately, it is also too often forgotten…..so sometimes we wrote Diaries to remind yourself of your everyday life and sometimes it is to remind us every day how important it is for us to listen. Literally, listening does not need any forms of money of hard work, you just have to sit back, relax and open your ears… During listening, you must at least have these things…

(a)Listen to what hasn’t been said(Eh? I haven’t hear that before…interesting…)
What has been said reveals much, but what hasn’t been said, often, speaks volume more. Humans are so energetic and they intend to listen to the hottest news from politics, entertainment, people mouth of word and many more but sometimes we have forgotten the sounds that is around us (Not trees, birds or something related to nature…hehe). For instance, our closest friends!

(b)Listen without interrupting(Don’t disturb!!)
When you listen, you listen but sometimes please don’t complete other people’s sentences, resists asking a question in a middle of a sentence, and please stop thinking about your own rebuttal.

(c) Listen with 100% intention (Haiz…me sometimes looked somewhere else..haha)
Give your undivided intention-focusing only on that person for that moment. Forget you have to watch; even forget what you are listening

(d)Listen with your mind and eyes(Do you understand what they have told you?)
If you really listen thoughtfully, you will hear more than the words; you will hear the intent behind the words.Make eye contact, watch the speaker’s body language, and discover how he or she really feels about the subject.

Now to all listeners/ readers of my lovely blogs, have you ever think about the promoters (Speakers) that always talked so much? If you are a listener, I suggest you listen with absolute Patience. This is especially important when listening to those who can’t seem to stop talking. When they feel they have been heard, they often do stop talking, and start listening!

So, you have listened to other peoples, but have you listen to yourself? You should spend time listening to your inner self….learn to listen to the whispers of your very own heart and your soul; of whats right and what’s not. You know so much more than you give yourself credit for.

Finally, to conclude this, either you are a promoter or a listener, the main thing is just listen! Because when you listen, you are being loving, and are loved in return!hehe… (^^)

Post's featued image.

It’s very beautiful when you are painting with lights. Since young, my house often have power shutdown, and my dad will light up the candle while my mom plays the guitar and she sings to me and my sister throughout the night….and the songs and the memories were often return to me. And I am lucky that my house is near the beach and also the night skies were full of stars….and that’s how light painting comes to me.

I have been experimenting with the beauties of light painting with my camera. Now at Australia, thanks to Emily and a few friends, I managed to play with it and here’s the result.

Theme: I lay my love for you

 Theme: Patterns of art
  Theme: The circle
  Theme: Corak Malaysia
  Theme: Going out

Well, really thanks Emily to help me with this shot ^^
